Welcome to Clover CottageHi, I'm Emily and I have been baking sourdough for over 6 years! The first couple of years were...not great…my brick loaves ruined a lot of bread knives. After years of perseverance, here we are! I love the sensory experience of working with dough and I revel in the magic of creating something so delicious with just water, flour and salt. It feels like magic! I enjoy the creative expression of trying new recipes, experimenting with add-ins and the scoring on the top of the loaves. I have five children and love to create and bask in nature. My favorites to bake are the chocolate loaves and focaccia and fresh pasta is my new hobby with my mother's pasta maker. I could eat sourdough avocado toast with fried eggs everyday, don't forget the Everything seasoning!
